No Good Can Come from U.S. Led Intervention in Libya!

Watch: Left Forum Attendees Condemn U.S. Attack on Libya, March 20, 2011 featuring Sunsara Taylor

Statement Condemning US Attack on Libya circulated March 20 at the Left Forum, in New York City:

Many of us at The Left Forum, a gathering of radical and progressive people within the U.S., denounce the U.S. - sponsored military aggression against Libya. The U.S. government is responsible for the slaughter and torture of civilians in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and other places...the occupation of Iraq...the torture chambers of Guantanamo and Bagram and who knows were else...the brutal suppression of the people who are rebelling carried out right now by U.S. allies in Saudi Arabian, Bahrain and Yemen...and the wholesale backing of the apartheid Israeli government. It is the greatest single purveyor of violence against ordinary people in the world today -- and has no right to carry out aggression against anyone, anywhere. We call on people all over the U.S., especially students, to act against this outrage.
