speaker Anne Wright The 'Speaking the Unspeakable: Is the Bush Administration
Guilty of War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity?' tour made it's second
stop at the University of Hawaii on March 27th.
Even though the event fell on the same date as Spring Break
day and a State Holiday, 150-175 people
came to hear featured speaker Anne Wright and testimony from Iraq war veterans/ Iraq Veterans
Against the War. The
speakers, accompanied by a slideshow and a short Bush Crimes Commission
video, brought the audience to a standing ovation after
gaining the moral clarity and sense of purpose to take responsibility
for
changing the course of history.
The event was organized by the Hawai'i Chapters of Not in
Our Name & World Can't Wait- Drive Out the Bush Regime.
