Thursday: Watch or Attend | Stop War Crimes on Gaza

Protesting the massacre in Gaza - Chicago August 10
Debra Sweet | August 10, 2014

We don't know all of what it will take to stop the crimes of our government, yet. But we know a key step is having a core of people who really work to know the truth about what this government is doing to people around the world.

Thursday, we're going "all out" to bring to the stage — and to you via webcast — speakers, art and content that we will all learn from; take heart from, and go forward in action on the basis of having taken it in.

Stop Israel’s Ongoing War Crimes Against the People of Gaza
Thursday August 14: Cooper Union & Live via webcast

Our audience is not only those who know and are committed, but far beyond.

Thinking back to the 1960's, I remember being at a teach-in on Vietnam where Seymour Hersh sat on the floor with a bunch of students, and told us about what the US was really doing. Our minds were opened and changed by what we heard — and some of us went on to lead serious protest to stop that war.

Main Calls to Action Thursday: Watch or Attend | Stop War Crimes on Gaza

World Can't Wait mobilizes people living in the United States to stand up and stop war on the world, repression and torture carried out by the US government. We take action, regardless of which political party holds power, to expose the crimes of our government, from war crimes to systematic mass incarceration, and to put humanity and the planet first.
