World Can't Wait received a handwritten card from a group of people living in a continuing care retirement community.  Enclosed were 12 checks totaling $245.

The note said:

We are members of a peace group at a continuing care retirement community in West Chester, NY.  The enclosed checks are donations from individuals, including myself, who, having read your ad in the NY Times would love to have this ad published again, especially in The Times again.  We were most impressed by its reasonableness, intelligent wording and its powerful graphics.  We would like to be represented in the next placement of this ad or one similar and perhaps updated.

We are: Kendal on Hudson Seniors for Peace.  Many thanks for all you've done to bring light and hope where there is only darkness and despair.
